Who is responsible

Pinchit, the business operating www.pinchit.in, decides why and how the personal information described in this notice is used. The trading name and GST details are listed on the business identity page.

For a privacy question or request, email priyamjain@pinchit.in.

What we collect

Information you provide

The website contact form collects the email address or phone number you choose to enter. If you contact us by email or continue a conversation, we also receive the information you include in that correspondence, such as your name, role, company and details about the process you want to discuss.

Please do not put passwords, financial account details, government identity documents, health information or other sensitive material into the contact field.

Hosting and security information

Like most hosted websites, our hosting provider may process request and diagnostic information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, and security or error logs.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated website measurement. It may record a timestamp, page path, referring site, general location, browser, operating system, device type, and limited interaction events such as a section view, CTA click, scroll milestone or engaged-time milestone.

Before analytics receives a page URL, Pinchit removes fragments and all query parameters except restricted campaign values such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. Contact details are not sent as analytics event properties.

How and why we use information

  • Respond to an inquiry. We use the contact detail you submit to understand and reply to your request.
  • Take steps toward an engagement. If you ask us to assess or propose work, we use the relevant correspondence to prepare that response.
  • Run and secure the website. Technical information helps deliver pages, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and protect the service.
  • Understand broad website use. Aggregated analytics helps us see which pages and topics are useful and improve the site.
  • Meet legal obligations. We may keep or disclose information where tax, accounting, dispute-resolution or other applicable law requires it.

Depending on the context and applicable law, these uses are based on your request or consent, steps taken before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or our legitimate interest in operating a secure and useful business website. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it for future processing.

Who receives information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as needed for the purposes described here:

  • Vercel hosts the website, processes web requests, provides privacy-conscious analytics and may store an inquiry in private Vercel Blob storage.
  • Notion may store and organise an inquiry in Pinchit’s private lead workflow.
  • Professional advisers and authorities may receive relevant information where reasonably necessary to obtain advice, protect rights, resolve a dispute or comply with law.
  • A successor or transaction party may receive relevant records if the business is reorganised, sold or transferred, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where cross-border transfer rules apply, we use the provider’s contractual and organisational safeguards and limit the information to what is needed.

Retention and security

Inquiry and correspondence data is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, assess a possible engagement, manage an ongoing relationship, resolve a dispute, or satisfy applicable legal, tax and accounting duties. The appropriate period depends on the stage and context of the relationship.

We use access controls and private storage for submitted contact details and limit access to people and providers who need it for the stated purpose. No internet service can promise absolute security; if a material incident affects your information, we will respond and notify as applicable law requires.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may be able to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict some processing; request a portable copy; or complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

Email priyamjain@pinchit.in with enough information for us to identify the relevant record. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and some information may be retained where law or a valid legal claim requires it.

If you no longer want us to contact you about an inquiry, say so in a reply or email us. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Cookies and similar storage

Pinchit does not currently set cookies for this website. Vercel Web Analytics is configured as a cookie-free analytics service and uses aggregated data rather than a persistent cross-site identifier. Pinchit’s analytics code does not store an analytics identifier in your browser.

Because the current site does not use non-essential cookies or similar browser storage, it does not show a cookie-consent banner. If that changes, we will update this notice and add a choice mechanism before using technology that requires consent.

Children and third-party sites

Pinchit provides business services and the website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information through the contact form.

Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own notices and practices. Pinchit is not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website, service providers or applicable requirements change. The effective and updated dates at the top show which version applies. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
